Burgh Island seafront holiday cottage

Fisherman's Cottage in Bigbury on Sea is located on Burgh Island and is situated at the waters edge on the sheltered leeward side of the Island. It has wonderful views from all rooms towards Bantham and the Avon Estuary.

The Cottage sleeps 5/6 Adults in one single and two double bedrooms.

Downstairs
The downstairs bedroom has a KIng Size Vi-Spring bed. It also has a very unusual en-suite bathroom that has been built into an Old Lime Kiln and the original roof has been retained. The view through the French Doors is towards the Avon Estuary and it is rather pleasant to sit in bed with an early morning cup of tea and watch the cormorants diving for fish.

Upstairs
There is a recently renovated double bedroom with a King size Vi-Spring bed. The spectacular view through the French Doors is towards the Avon Estuary.
The single bedroom has views towards Challaborough. All bedrooms have an iPod docking station.
There is a Shower room with WC and a Washing Machine/Tumble Dryer.

Lounge/Kitchen
The Lounge has a Smart TV, Sonos, CD and DVD Player with a large selection of CD's and DVD's.
There are magnificent views from the large picture window and the patio doors.
The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, oven, ceramic hob, toaster, kettle and a breakfast bar that seats 6

Outside the cottage has a patio with panoramic views. There is also a lawned area right by the waters edge. This area contains a kayak store and guests are welcome to use the 2 kayaks. There is also a hot/cold shower outside to revive guests after their swims.

There is parking for 1 car on the Island and parking on the Mainland can be arranged.
