This superbly located, beautiful thatched beachside cottage in the heart of Hope Cove sleeps 4 and is available for your holidays. Situated right next to the beaches, it's in a wonderful position for coastal walking whilst being just across the village square and conveniently close to the fantastic village shop, a cafe and the pub. There is private parking for one car. No pets. No smoking in the cottage. The Cabin has been around for roughly 500 years and in my family for 4 generations, it has many tales to tell from the beams which are said to come from the wrecked Spanish Armada ship, the San Pedro el Mayor to the smugglers passage below the sitting room floor leading to a cave at the back of the Shippen cliff. The front door opens directly into the beamed sitting room with a wood/coal burning stove and views reaching out over the bay. You can relax with a book on the comfy sofa whilst listening to the sound of the beach and waves or take your pick from games cupboard for a competitive evening. There is a great music system and selection of CDs. Free wi-fi if you need it. We do not have a television. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, microwave, food processor cafetiere and oven with ceramic hob. There is a washing machine. At the end of the kitchen is the downstairs WC and separate bathroom. The bath has a shower over it, a heated mirror and a heated towel rail. Back doors access the garden which looks directly over Mouthwell Beach. The doorways are low so you will need to mind your head if you are tall. There are steep stairs so if you have any mobility issues, please ask for an additional photo or more information. Low season rates from £450 for Jan - Mar, Mid season £460 - £620 and High Season, July - Aug £950 per week. Weekend/ short breaks are welcome, £200 for 2 nights, £240 for 3 nights, please don't hesitate to enquire for a tailored solution.
