Despite its name, Beesands Beach is made up of shingle. But the lack of sand does not deter the many families that flock to this award winning beach in the summer. Families holidaying in Beesands enjoy excellent facilities and have a neighbouring lake at their disposal should there be any strong currents.
Facilities include toilets, a picnic area, a great pub, ice creams and a playground. Water sports are popular here but there is no lifeguard service. Free parking is available above and around the beach with easy access for the disabled. Dogs are allowed all year round.
