The beach of Port Isaac is made-up of sand and shingle and is sheltered within the piers of Port Isaac's picturesque medieval harbour. There are a few scattered boats on the beach belonging to a small fishing community and there are plenty of rock pools and tidal pools for the kids to enjoy.
Given the harbour and beach are at the centre of the village, facilities are only a stone's throw away, namely public toilets, a cafe and restaurants overlooking the beach. There is parking a short walk away, but you have to walk through the little village to access it. Well behaved dogs are welcome all year round.
