Porthleven Beach

Porthleven is located in Cornwall north of Lizard and is home to a three mile long beach which is popular with the surfing crowd as the waves are magnificent. Although many families come to enjoy this beach, only very strong swimmers should attempt these waters as the currents are strong. Lifeguards are on duty in the summer months.

There is a lovely stone pier and harbour beside the beach where you'll find toilets and a great pub and there are more eateries and parking facilities in the village. Dogs have restricted access to the beach between Easter and October.
