Porthpean Beach

Porthpean Beach is near St Austell and is a great sandy shore for an easy day of family fun by the sea. The water is safe for children to enjoy a paddle and swim, there are plenty of rock pools on the west side of the beach and the facilities are close to hand.

There are toilets, a beach cafe, a beach shop and parking, as well as a slipway enabling disabled access to the beach. There is no lifeguard service but there is a kayak hire centre on the beach. Dogs are banned from Easter to October.
