Rock Beach is a stretch of fine sand that faces west across the Camel Estuary. This beach enjoys gorgeous views over sheltered waters and swimming conditions are very safe. The estuary is often dotted with sailing boats and aquatic birds and wildlife watching is particularly enjoyable from the sand dunes that surround this perfect beach.
There is no lifeguard service in Rock and no real need for one. There is parking and toilets near the beach, as well as a great beach cafe just off the main road running along the beach. There is disabled access to the beach and dog restrictions apply from Easter to October.
