Thurlestone Beach

Thurlestone Beach is a spectacular stretch of unspoilt golden sand surrounded by dunes and sheltered by rocky headland at either end of the beach. It sits within an Area of Outstanding Beauty and is an ideal spot for families who enjoy nature and want to get away from the commercial Riviera beaches.

Thanks to gentle shelving it is safe for kids to bathe and lifeguards patrol between May and September. Unfortunately there are no immediate facilities in Thurlestone but neighbouring South Milton Sands provides toilets, a beach cafe, a shop and more parking. Dogs are welcome all year round.
