The little village of Longframlington lies slightly inland from Northumberland's Heritage coast, just South of Alnwick. This is a rural region set against a dramatic and wild countryside with a fabulous rugged coastline which boasts many cliff top walks, fine sandy beaches with wild dunes and memorable waterscapes. The village has a few good shops and pubs and many of the village cottages and houses are made of stone. This is a beautifully peaceful place to stay and there are many opportunities to spot local wildlife. The local wood makes for a lovely scenic walk and there are some notable county houses, museums, landmarks and castles worthy of visiting in nearby Cragside and Alnwick. The nearest beach is Druridge Bay and the best is at Bamburgh or Holy Island. The self-catering Longframlington cottages listed below are child friendly and can be booked direct with the property manager online. To see more seaside holiday homes near Longframlington check out the extensive collection of beach cottages in Northumberland advertised on Beachlets, most just a short walk to the beach with some located right on the beachfront with direct beach access and pets welcome.
