While away a few hours on Aberdaron Beach, spotting surfers bobbing in the waves. If you’re feeling a little more active, then there are lots of breathtaking walks to discover in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A boat trip to Ynys Enlli (Bardsey Island) is also well worth a visit. Here, you’ll discover the ruins of St Mary’s Abbey, rich wildlife and a dramatic coastline.

This converted barn has a contemporary feel, yet still boasts some of its original features, such as vaulted ceilings with rustic wooden beams and beautiful slate flooring. The open-plan kitchen/living area is perfect for cooking and entertaining with modern appliances, comfortable seating and a dining area where you can share a delicious evening meal. The living area shares the same homely feel with a large sofa next to a set of patio doors leading outside. A few steps down through the living space, you’ll find a cosy snug room where you can gather your family together for a fun evening movie. There are several sofas here as well as a wood burner and Smart TV. On the ground floor, there are three king-size bedrooms (two with zip-and-link beds) which have been tastefully decorated to a high standard. The twin room is housed in the modern loft space and is accessible via a set of paddle stairs – perfect for older children who want to ‘hide away’.

The property boasts a wonderful split-level patio which affords a sheltered position and stunning views over Aberdaron Bay. There’s a BBQ available to use and a picnic table, where you can cook a tasty evening meal whilst watching the sun set over the bay. There’s also a pretty lawned area which is enclosed.
