This beautiful barn conversion sleeps 7 guests half a mile from Porth Neigwl beach on the Llyn Peninsula. This 3-mile stretch of sand is popular with surfers, so bring your boogie boards and dive in. The little village of Llangian is only 1 mile away with its convenient local shop and traditional pub. Just 3 miles away is the popular seaside town of Abersoch with an array of interesting shops, cafes and restaurants. Walkers can stride out along the Wales Coast Path and golfers will love the spectacular views at the 18-hole Abersoch Golf Club. The coastal waters are great for all types of water sports, including kayaking, wakeboarding and windsurfing. Boat trips out to Bardsey Island and seal-spotting around the St. Tudwall’s Islands are also popular.
The characterful barn conversation has level or ramp access from both the front and rear entrances. Inside, guests will find a bright and airy open-plan living area with many original features retained. Exposed stonework and wooden beams add to the country cottage ambience, and there is plenty of space for the whole group. There are comfortable sofas, a well-equipped kitchen and a large wooden dining table to gather around. The ground-floor bedroom features an electrical adjustable double bed and an en-suite wet room with grab rails as well as a shower/commode chair on wheels with flexible arms. A bespoke wooden staircase takes you up to the gallery-style first floor and the remaining guest bedrooms. These are a double room with an en-suite shower room and a large room with three single beds. Both bedrooms have low, sloping ceilings and Velux windows offering lovely countryside views. The main bathroom features a Jacuzzi bath.
Back doors lead out to a pretty patio area set with a comfortable rattan outdoor table and chairs. This is the spot to enjoy your morning coffee accompanied by sweeping countryside views. The large table is also perfect for outdoor dining. Beyond this, extensive lawns are set up with children’s play equipment. There is also a large games room with table tennis, table football and darts. This room has a large entrance and ramp access.
