This pretty cottage sleeps 5 guests plus pets in a peaceful plot adjacent to pastoral farmland on the Llyn Peninsula near Abersoch. This Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty offers a wealth of wildlife and water sports so you’ll never be short of something to do. There are three different beaches to choose from (Abersoch, Machroes and Porth Neigwl) all a little over a mile away, each with restaurants, tea rooms and bars. Abersoch Bay’s flat water is especially ideal for those wishing to try wakeboarding, waterskiing, stand-up paddleboarding and windsurfing. A farm shop with a cafe for the freshest local produce lies just over half a mile east, and you can play golf at the nearby club (1.6 miles).

This property is a great base for exploring the local area and inside you’ll find reverse-level accommodation. At ground level you’ll find two bedrooms – a charming double with a beamed ceiling as well as a twin, which has French doors leading out to the patio. There’s also a spacious bathroom with a separate shower. Upstairs, the real heart of the home is the fantastic and stylish, triple-aspect, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with an oriel window, a wood burner, rich oak flooring, a TV housed in a French grey armoire and Ercol-style seating and dining furniture. This really is a great space for spending time together and as its found on the first floor, it takes full advantage of elevated rural views. Also on this level is a cosy single bedroom and a WC.

The garden with patio and lawns is at the rear, bordered by a wire fence. Set over two levels and furnished with a table, chairs and a BBQ, it’s ideally set up for al fresco family meals. Here you may also catch a glimpse of birds flying in and out of a nesting box attached to the shed which has plenty of beach items you can borrow.
