During the day you can get incredible views over the surrounding forests, the ocean and the Bay of Arcachon from the top of the dune.

Onsite you can relax in the heated pool or take a seat on the terrace to soak up the sunshine. Children will be kept entertained with the Topi Club for those aged 4 – 12 and the teen club for those 13 and up - a great place to have fun while making new friends. During July and August the campsite runs a ‘soccer camp’ with either half day or full day options.

The surrounding area is great for keen cyclists or those looking for a leisurely cycle – there are many trails that lead from the campsite through the Landes pine forests.

Please note some facilities and activities are only available during high season. Please check at the time of booking if there is an activity or facility which is crucial for your holiday.

Local area
The area is recommended for those that like to get out and explore. As well as having the massive Dune du Pyla, the region has many cycling and walking trails. The campsite’s close proximity to the Landes Forest means that there is plenty of natural area to explore.

Arcachon Bay is one of the Atlantic coast’s most popular resorts. The town of Arcachon is a fascinating place to explore with its vibrant atmosphere and lively daily markets. The town is split into four parts, each named after a season. Take a wander around the Ville d’Hiver to take a look at the stunning grand houses that date back to the 1800’s. The town sits on an inlet and the beach in the centre of Arcachon is perfect for families as the water is very calm.

Climbing the 258 steps to the top of the Cap Ferret lighthouse is a must to enjoy breathtaking views over the Arcachon Bay. The area is famous for its oysters. If you look out to sea, you will see tall posts rising out the water – these mark the locations of the oyster beds.

For sightseeing a bit further away, the city of Bordeaux is an hour’s drive away and makes for a fascinating day out, either exploring the city or the many vineyards in the region.
