The Blue Flag beach has excellent water quality and golden sands backed by pretty coloured beach huts. Take the family for a adventure-fuelled day out to BeWILDerwood (14 miles) or uncover history at the National Trust’s Felbrigg Hall (11 miles) or the ruins of Baconsthorpe Castle (18 miles).

This property was originally a tack room and forge. Now converted into a family holiday cottage, it has been thoughtfully refurbished retaining features such as flint walls and exposed beams. On the ground floor, you will find a spacious and open-plan lounge/dining room and a kitchen. Rustle up a delectable dinner in the well-equipped kitchen with oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and icebox, and coffee machine.

Enjoy eating together around the dining table or get cosy in front of the electric fire on the comfortable sofas. Spend an evening watching your favourite shows on the Smart TV. A family bathroom with shower over the bath completes the ground floor. Take the stairs accessed via the lounge to the gallery. Up here are the two bedrooms separated by heavy curtains providing privacy. To one side is a double bed with dressing table and hanging space. Outside, you will find a private garden for your cottage with seating and a BBQ, ideal for spending an evening with a glass of wine as the sun sets. To the centre of this property complex is a thatched barn with shared leisure facilities including an indoor swimming pool, sauna, mini gym and games room.
