A lovely Welsh farmhouse cottage sleeps 6 guests plus pets just outside Bangor at the base of the Carneddau mountains. This three-bedroom property is ideal for walkers, bikers, nature lovers and families looking for an active holiday in North Wales. Guests can head to the coastline on either side of the Menai Strait, visit the spectacular castles in Conwy and Caernarfon (both 12 miles), hike mountainous trails weaving through the Snowdonia National Park (10 miles) and discover the beautiful unspoilt charms of Anglesey (8 miles). Just 4 miles from the cottage is Bangor, the oldest city in Wales and a lovely spot where you’ll find all the amenities you need, plus historic sights, tour companies, pubs, and restaurants.

This welcoming cottage is full of comfortable rooms with original features and beautiful rural views from most windows. Put your feel up in the cosy living room with its squashy leather sofas and atmospheric wood burner. Create home-cooked meals in the spacious, attractively finished kitchen where you’ll find everything you need, plus a two-seater sofa so the chef can have company while they work. An eight-person dining table sits at one end of the kitchen beside expansive windows with lovely views. Rinse away the cares of the day in the large, walk-in rainfall shower before retiring to one of three comfortable bedrooms. This cottage has two doubles and third room with bunk beds, on the ground floor.

The outside space at this property consists of a large lawn and a gravelled area with seating, a gas BBQ and stunning views of the local countryside and across the Menai Strait to Anglesey.
