A superb cottage retreat in Beer that sleeps a group of 4 close to all local amenities and the fabulous pebble beach and coastal paths. It’s easy to discover the fabulous Jurassic Coast from here thanks to a fantastic selection of walks in all directions. The South West Coast Path passes through the village, taking you high onto the cliffs and spoiling you with truly magical views along this iconic stretch of coastline. Heading east, you’ll soon reach the seaside town of Seaton (2 miles), where you can ride on the heritage tramway and try a huge variety of water sports. Journey west, and you’ll discover the picture-postcard village of Branscombe (3 miles), with its colourful cottages, thatched buildings, and painted beach huts. If you fancy a day at the beach without the walking, Beer also has an adorable shingle beach, where you can share a picnic and watch the fishing boats going about their daily business. It’s also a great beach for rock pooling and fossil hunting. There are some great family attractions within easy reach, including Crealy Theme Park (16 miles) and Sidmouth’s Donkey Sanctuary (5.5 miles).

The end-of-terrace cottage has an open-plan layout, creating a bright and spacious ground-floor living area comprising a lounge/kitchen/diner. Underfloor heating runs throughout the ground floor, ensuring a warm welcome, whatever the season. The cottage has been impeccably decorated, with subtle seaside tones and beautiful beach-themed artwork and accessories. Come together around the large dining table for memorable evenings of great food, followed by a movie night on the comfortable sofas in the lounge area. Heading upstairs, you’ll find the two tasteful bedrooms. There is a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room and an inviting twin bedroom. The family bathroom is also located on this floor.

To the front of the property is a small seating area with shared access boasting pretty artificial hanging baskets which adorn the walls. There is also a bench and a bistro set, where you can sip a morning coffee or enjoy a sundowner at the end of the day.
