The village of Beer, which is located on the Jurassic Coast, is surrounded by picturesque white chalk cliffs with scenic coastal walking routes and a shingle beach (less than 200 metres). Close to the property is an array of traditional pubs where you can get a taste of the freshly caught seafood – the mackerel is the speciality here – independently run shops and two art galleries (less than 0.5 miles).

Stepping inside, you’ll immediately notice the unique features and character of the property. The entrance hallway offers a bench for sitting on to take off your shoes, with hooks above it for hanging up coats and hats, opposite a sofa. The lighting and art are stylish and contemporary. Continue into the living area, which is a light space with neutral tones, a gas fire and two comfortable sofas. Additional space for unwinding can be found in the snug, which has more contemporary art, a sofa and a footstool beside a bay window – it’s an ideal place to pause and relax with a good book and a glass of wine on a rainy day. Walking into the kitchen, you’ll be delighted by the size and excellent amount of natural light which pours in through the skylights and floor-to-ceiling windows, and French doors which lead to the courtyard.

There is a glossy one-wall kitchen unit for preparing hearty meals when dining in. Additionally, there’s a glass table with seating for six on the other side of the room which is surrounded by tall glass panels. Also on the ground floor is a shower room with WC and a washer/dryer. Climb the stairs to find the three bedrooms and family bathroom. The master bedroom is a cosy room with a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room with WC. Inside the second bedroom, you’ll find another king-size bed, and the third bedroom sleeps two on twin beds. If you’d like to relax in a bubble bath, the family bathroom has a bath with a WC.

Outside, there is an enclosed patio surrounded by shrubs, trees and flowering plants. This tranquil space offers a table and chairs for enjoying a special meal with your guests, alfresco.
