This holiday home is located in a rather famous spot in Bigbury-on-Sea opposite Burgh Island, once the haunt of the literary and musical glitterati of the 20th century, including the Beatles. The village of Bigbury-on-Sea, once just a few fishermen’s cottages with fish cellars, overlooks the largest sandy beach in South Devon. This spectacular setting is where you could be spending your holiday break.
The cottages have now been luxuriously converted and brought up to date and will accommodate six people in comfort and style in the most glorious and unspoilt surroundings. It is possible to walk across the causeway to the island at low tide, but you will never be stranded if the tide comes up too quickly, as the sea tractor will happily give you a lift back if you don’t feel like getting wet.
