Bring all the family to this town centre cottage boasting great views, period features mixed with contemporary decor and two outdoor spaces. Brixham’s Fish Market, tearooms, restaurants, the marina and the historic harbourfront are within a 300-metre radius. Go for a dip at Breakwater Beach (0.3 miles) and investigate the rock pools at Fishcombe Cove or St Mary’s Bay (both 1 mile), and make a splash at the seasonal Shoalstone Seawater Pool (0.5 miles). Kids can let off some steam at the Nelson Road Play Area and the skate park (both 1 mile), as well as explore the green spaces of Berry Head National Nature Reserve (1 mile).
The open-plan living area is found on the first floor, benefiting from elevated views and an attractive feature fireplace. Adults can relax and cook, kids can play on the PlayStation 4, and everyone can gather for meals around the dining table. A double bedroom with an en-suite shower room is also found on this level. Also on the ground floor a super king-size bedroom with super king-size zip-and-link bed (which can be made as 2 singles please request when booking) alongside shower room. On the second floor is a spacious family suite offering a super king-size bed and with an additional two single beds with sea views and a large shower room. In the family suite the super king-size bed can also be made up as twin beds (please request when booking), it provides the option to designate the entire space to children.
An area of patio is enclosed by fencing and rock walls, with a BBQ, benches and dining table seating for 8 people for casual dining. The cottage also has a roof terrace with rattan sofa-style seating for eight; a marvellous spot to watch the birds in their ivy nests by day and the bats flying from the other side of the cliff by night.
