Brixham harbourside cottage sleeps 4

A marvelous pet friendly cottage in the center of Brixham that sleeps 4, just round the corner from Brixham harbour so close to the happening social scene and all the local treasures, including seafood eateries, independent shops, boat trip stations and local pirate legends. There is plenty to see and do in the town, from beaches to restaurants, to scuba and even a fascinating replica of Sir Francis Drake’s ship The Golden Hind. Further afield, but still within easy reach, the towns of Paignton and Torquay are also popular destinations with visitors, and offer attractions such as golden sandy beaches, a zoo, an aquarium, and a wonderful steam railway which runs through the Dart Valley.

The front door of this cottage opens directly into the lounge where guests are greeted with a homely and welcoming atmosphere. Two comfortable chairs and a sofa allow guests a relaxing space in which to enjoy the TV, DVD, iPod dock, and cosy log fire which is set within the original exposed-brick fire place. A pretty stained-glass window is set between the lounge and the kitchen which is situated towards the rear of the property. It is easy for guests to make themselves at home as there is an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, small fridge/freezer, coffee machine, whilst the washing machine can be found in the conservatory which is accessed through the kitchen and offers a lovely sunny dining space for guests to enjoy. Stairs from the lounge lead to the first floor where the master bedroom is situated, with its king-size bed. The bathroom, also on the first floor, has a large shower and WC. Up on the second floor, there are two further bedrooms: a restful small double room with sea views and another small double bed.

Outside, there is an enclosed patio to the rear of the property, where the owners have provided a table and chairs for guests to enjoy. Parking is available for 1 car

Brixham is busy fishing village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging.
Many of the amenities and cottages in Brixham are accessed via steps some of which can be steep.

There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars.

1 dog allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £25. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.
