This splendid farmhouse outside Caernarfon sleeps 7 guests plus pets and is set in a beautiful rural location ideal for an active or relaxing holiday for families or for a group of friends looking for a quiet base from which to explore Snowdonia, Anglesey and the Llyn Peninsula. Located within walking distance to an award winning Garden Centre which is also one of the best ones in Great Britain – Fron Goch Garden Centre. Caernarfon with the mountains of Snowdonia as a backdrop and its magnificent castle is only 2 miles away. Walkers can climb Snowdon from Llanberis (8 miles) or walk along part of the beautiful Llyn Peninsula on the Llyn Coastal Path (1 mile). For water sports and beach activities, Dinas Dinlle (4 miles) offers a sandy beach, and for cyclists there’s the Lon Eifion Cycleway, a scenic 12.5-mile cycle route from Caernarfon to Bryncir, accessed just 0.5 miles from the cottage.

This delightful property combines the original features of the farmhouse with the comforts of contemporary living. There are two lounges – one with an exposed stone fireplace with a cosy wood burner, comfortable seating and TV and a second, larger lounge with an open fire and plenty of seating to relax and watch the TV. The cottage-style kitchen has a Rayburn and the dining area has fine countryside views. There’s also a cloakroom on the ground floor. Upstairs there are four bedrooms – two doubles, one with picturesque rural views, a twin and a single – and a pretty family bathroom.

Step outside and you will discover an enclosed lawned area and a patio area with seating and a BBQ, perfect for enjoying the wonderful views and al fresco dining on fine days.
