Follow the scenic coastal path along the banks of the River Dart to the historic centre to discover the castle, the galleries and the museums before treating yourself to some seafood at one of the many eateries. Sailing is a big deal in Dartmouth but you can also enjoy water activities like kayaking and paddleboarding. Don’t miss a trip across the river to Kingswear or cruise to all the way to the sweet village of Dittisham, or head to the National Trust’s Greenway House, once home to Agatha Christie. For beach lovers, picturesque Blackpool Sands is 2.5 miles away.

In the months of May through to November why not attend one of the many events and festivals in the area like the Dartmouth Music Festival, Dartmouth Royal Regatta, Dartmouth Food Festival, Torbay Air Show, Teignmouth Air show, Brixham Pirate Festival, Devon County Show.

An open archway leads into the neighbouring kitchen, which is fully fitted and well-equipped for rustling up breakfast or dinner at home. A few steps lead up to the cosy double bedroom and family bathroom, while the lower ground floor houses the second bedroom with king-size and single bed, and en-suite shower room.

While the property has no outdoor space of its own, you’re less than half a mile from Warfleet Creek and Sugary Cove Beach on the River Dart, offering lovely scenery and walks.
