A beautiful cottage in Dyffryn Ardudwy near Benar Beach that sleeps six guests in absolute comfort. Benar Beach is a golden sandy jewel on the crown of the Welsh coast backed by sand dunes popular with surfers and body borders. If biking is more your thing then set off on two wheels to discover some magnificent scenery, perhaps spending time in the Coed y Brenin Forest Park (22.5 miles), Britain’s first designated mountain biking centre. Those who prefer a more easy-going break will no doubt enjoy a trip to the seaside resort of Barmouth (6 miles), a place with two museums and a Heritage Trail plotting the rich history of this North Wales community.

Generously proportioned and lovingly maintained, this detached holiday home offers a comfortable stay for however long you wish to stay, be it a long weekend or a much longer residency. As you step inside the entrance hall you’ll find a great space for stowing away outerwear and keeping those muddy boots to one side. The ground floor presents a spacious lounge and diner, each separated by French doors to offer both privacy and an additional feel of sociability as needed. Curl up in the cosy lounge with the flame effect electric fire on and the TV/DVD playing your favourite film. Younger guests might even prefer to spend a night on the Xbox 1 right here. Whoever is in charge of cooking will feel completely at home in the kitchen, a well-equipped space with plenty of countertop room for fixing up all of your favourite meals. Further modern amenities can be found in the shared family bathroom just down the hall. The property boasts three bedrooms, each with pastel-painted walls and a calming décor that’ll help aid a good night’s sleep. The first is an en-suite king-size bedroom, the second a spacious double and the third a single bedroom with an optional trundle bed available for use. Each room has its own TV, perfect for those lazy mornings spent catching up on the news with breakfast in bed.

Exit the property via the dining room to find yourself in the garden. This ample space boasts plenty of manicured green lawn, a patio area with a pergola and outdoor furniture with a BBQ.
