A fantastic coastal cottage tat sleeps 8 with estuary views over the harbour near the centre of Fowey with its vibrant social scene that fills its many pubs and eateries. Take to the estuary on a hired boat or kayak or enjoy a river or sea cruise. There is a sandy beach at Readymoney Cove 0.5 miles away, or hop on the passenger ferry which runs across the harbour to the quaint neighbouring fishing village of Polruan. For a unique insight into the local species in these waters, visit Fowey Aquarium. For the walkers, Fowey lies within one of the many Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Cornwall. The surrounding countryside, with its tidal creeks, rolling fields and rugged cliffs, will make you want to return here again and again. Don’t miss the Fowey Festival of Words and Music, held in May, or the Fowey Royal Regatta, held in August. Both bring many additional attractions and events to the town.

Beautifully furnished over three floors, this inviting home offers river views from many rooms. The large open plan sitting/dining room has two plush sofas, an armchair, and an Amazon-enabled TV, with a bay window giving views of the harbour and across the water to Polruan. A few steps lead from the living room to the stylish and well-equipped kitchen and a separate utility room. On the first floor are three bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and one with a bunk-bed – both sharing river views. The other bedroom on this floor has twin single beds. There is also a family bathroom with a bath, shower over and WC. On the top floor, the spacious master bedroom has a king-size bed, sloping ceilings and an excellent harbour view. There is also an additional shower room with WC.

Outside is a small walled garden and decked area with a table and chairs, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the South Cornwall coast.
