This idyllic farm house that sleeps 4 guests in Galmpton, near Hope Cove, makes the perfect base from which to discover Devon’s South Hams. Hope Cove is less than 1 mile across pretty pastures where you can choose from two gorgeous beaches and link to the South West Coast Path. Spend sunny days on the large, sandy beach at Thurlestone (5 miles), which is popular for its surf and unspoilt surroundings, or head for Bantham, (7.5 miles) for more fun by the sea. Explore the stunning beaches and estuary at Salcombe (within 4 miles) – a renowned foodie haven with a tempting array of independent shops. The market town of Kingsbridge (5 miles) makes for a lovely day out, with plenty of shops, cafes and leisure facilities including a swimming pool and a cinema.

Step inside this gorgeous stone property from the pleasant courtyard, and you’ll find yourself in the welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. A wood burner keeps the lounge area cosy on cooler evenings, with a Smart TV inviting you to curl up and watch your favourite shows after busy days out on the coast. Cooking is easy in the well-equipped kitchen, which has a breakfast bar with four stools, ideal for enjoying your morning coffee and pastries. Eat your meals all together around the wooden dining table overlooking the courtyard, which doubles up as the perfect spot for board games or an evening tipple. Completing the ground floor is a handy WC. Stairs lead up from the hallway to two lovingly furnished bedrooms: a cosy twin with an en-suite shower room, and a bright double with an en-suite bathroom. Both bedrooms are equipped with Smart TVs to help you make the most of lazy morning lie ins.

Outside, a shared patio with outdoor seating is a lovely space to soak up the sunshine. A short walk away, you’ll find an inviting shared area with BBQ, pizza oven and outdoor seating where you can while away warm evenings under the stars. There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £25. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.
