The small village of Hartland is situated three miles inland and offers an small selection of shops, three pubs, a coffee shop, bakery and a collection of interesting galleries and craft workshops. There is something for every age range: surfing and sandcastle building at the popular beach resort of Westward Ho! (16 miles) or the opportunity to hire a rowing boat on the Bude canal (13 miles). Attractions for children nearby include the Milky Way Adventure Park and North Devon Wake/Aqua Park (7 miles) and The Big Sheep Adventure Park (14 miles) or if you wish to travel further a field the popular Cornish villages of Port Isaac (43 miles) Boscastle (32.5 miles) and Tintagel (36.5 miles) are a drive away.
This former-grain store has been lovingly converted to create a stunning holiday home. On entering the property, guests can’t help but be impressed by the sense of space and double-height ceiling with exposed beams. This is an open-plan space, comprising a lounge/kitchen/diner, allowing guests to easily enjoy spending time together. The lounge area has comfortable sofas, warming wood burner, and Smart TV and DVD player. The kitchen area, meanwhile, is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The double and single bedroom are also located on the ground floor, the double offers an en-suite shower with WC, with separate bathroom with a shower-over-bath and WC. Wooden stairs lead from the living area to a galleried landing which has been styled as an additional seating area, perfect for enjoying some quiet time with a good book. This also, holds the twin bedroom with separate WC and basin.
