This Barmouth cottage sleeps 5 guests, enjoys uninterrupted sea views and is set off the North Wales Coastal Path surrounded by mountains, farmland and sea. The seaside town of Barmouth is only 2 miles away, whilst Cader Idris and all the amenities of Snowdonia National Park are within 20 miles. The cottage is a couple of hundred metres from Llanaber’s sandy beach and the Wales Coast Path. The nearest train station is 0.5 miles away. From here, you can take the line up the coast to Pwllheli or down to Aberystwyth on the scenic Cambrian Coast Railway. The area also offers plenty of options to eat out and some of the best options include Barmouth and Talybont (both 2 miles), which have both fine-dining options and bars. Some attractions not to be missed include Coed y Brenin’s world-renowned mountain biking centre (16 miles), Harlech Castle’s World Heritage Site (9 miles), the Italianate-style village of Portmeirion (17 miles), and Zip Wire and Bounce Below at Blaenau Ffestiniog (24 miles).

Designed to make the most of the mesmerising sea views, this beautiful reverse-level cottage offers a spacious, contemporary space in which to enjoy the North Wales coast. On the ground floor, you’ll find the two bedrooms, both with underfloor heating. The first is a luxurious king-size bed with sea views and a reading chair. The second is a spacious family bedroom with a double and single bed, and of course more sea views. The modern, fully tiled bathroom is just outside both of these rooms and offers a large shower cubicle and a WC. Under the stairs, there is a cupboard with a washing machine and some storage. Move upstairs and find the perfect room in which to sit back and relax. Occupying the whole first floor, the open-plan living/kitchen/dining room enjoys plenty of natural light, and amazing mountain and sea views. Throughout this room, you will see modern Welsh-inspired decoration, along with feature beams and an exposed stone wall. The living area includes two inviting sofas in front of the views and a large TV with a DVD player, and the kitchen has everything you need to whip up delicious feasts, which you can devour at the breakfast bar or dining table.

Head outside and relax in the sun on the rattan dining set. There’s also a lawn area which boasts beautiful, uninterrupted views across the sea towards Bardsey Island and the Llyn Peninsula.
