Set back from the road on a peaceful housing estate in Kelling village, this family-friendly cottage, built in the 1950s, has been completely refurbished to offer a stylish and relaxing stay for four people. Lying within the North Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty just 4.5 miles from Sheringham and 3 miles from Holt, Kelling Heath’s vast expanses of open heathland attract all manner of wildlife, while stargazers will enjoy the gloriously clear night skies — an absence of large cities has rendered the area a Dark Sky Reserve. Kelling’s great location on the coast road skirting the top of Norfolk means it once attracted smugglers and the military. Now it is prized for its shingle beach, picturesque walks and great transport links — leave the car behind and use the Coasthopper Bus Service to explore this beautiful stretch of coastline.

On the ground floor, a spacious sitting room with ample seating and a feature fireplace is a relaxing social space, where books and games are provided. The kitchen/diner is bright and modern with a dining table for four and extra seating at the kitchen island. A door leads from here to the rear garden. Upstairs, the first floor comprises two double bedrooms, one king-size and one twin, and a bathroom with shower over the bath and WC.

Outside, a long back garden shaded by mature trees is a haven for butterflies in summer. A secluded summerhouse and portable BBQ make this an attractive spot for al fresco eating.
