Kingswear large holiday cottage that sleeps nine guests in four bedrooms with two dogs allowed. Stay in this charming, detached property in stunning Kingswear for a peaceful holiday away from it all with friends or family. With its brightly painted buildings, welcoming pubs and winding streets rising up the hillside from the water, Kingswear is a truly picturesque village. Discover some local history with a visit to the 16th-century castle (1.5 miles) or hop on the ferry to the pretty town of Dartmouth (1 mile) on the opposite bank of the River Dart. When it’s time to hit the beach, the pretty Compass Cove is 2.5 miles away – to get there, you may choose to walk or cycle along the South West Coast Path.

You’ll enter the house on the first floor, where three of the four bedrooms are located – 1 super – king size and 1 king-size, both with en-suite bathrooms, and a twin room. Head down the stairs and you’ll reach the main living area as well as the kitchen, fourth bedroom and family bathroom. The kitchen has all the equipment you’ll need for your daily meals, plus an island with two bar stools. In the living area, there’s a dining table and chairs for enjoying meals. The large lounge has sofas, a wood burner, and a telescope that you can use to get to know your surroundings. Three large sets of French doors lead outside. The fourth bedroom, a bunk room with a double bed at the bottom and a single at the top (suitable for children), is also on this floor as well as the family shower room with WC.

The balcony is equipped with a table and chairs for enjoying breakfast in the fresh air with amazing views of Dartmouth and an awning to provide shade on hot sunny days. There’s also a delightful garden with terrace areas offering delightful views, plus a BBQ for al fresco feasts

Parking for 3 cars: There is parking for at least 2 cars on the strip of land to the left of the house on Redoubt Hill where there is a gate into the properties back garden. with the garage, 3 cars can park.
