Kingswear has enough shops and eateries to keep your family and friends happy, and you can even take the steam train from here to Paignton. A short and beautifully scenic ferry ride takes you across to Dartmouth and its numerous shops, cafes, restaurants as well as water sports, and boat trips up the river to Totnes, the Greenaway Estate or out to sea for dolphin watching.

The accommodation is light and airy, and arranged over 3 levels, with the top level consisting of a self-contained flat which makes it ideal for grandparents or couples holidaying with a larger group. On the ground floor there is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner kitchen, which has beautiful bay windows to make the most of the fabulous views and the kitchen is superbly equipped for nights when you decide to eat in with a dining table and chairs for eight. The lounge is a comfortable space for relaxing. There’s also a handy utility area. Up on the first floor you’ll find three lovely bedrooms – two kings and a bunk bedroom as well as a family bathroom. On the top floor is the accommodation for two which has a stunning balcony with wonderful views over the creek and across to the beautiful town of Dartmouth. This space also features its own kitchen and a large en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, toilet, bidet and wash basin.

Outside, the property features two large, decked areas with ample room for dining and relaxing, and a balcony in the top flat, all with fantastic river views. In addition, there is a small, decked area to the rear of the property that is a lovely sun trap in the mornings. The property is also close to launch sites for paddleboarding and kayaking.
