A large group Bacton coastal cottage that sleeps 12 near the beach. Perfect for a big family occasion, or for friends alike, this large house is located on the edge of the East Norfolk coast in the family-friendly village of Bacton. Just a short stroll to the beach and easily accessible on foot, this property is perfectly placed for family fun on the beach. Less than half a mile are some local cafes offering great breakfast or coffee and cake options. If you fancy a change of scenery, Mundesley beach (3.9 miles) offers miles of coastline, as does Happisburgh (3.5 miles) and why not visit the lighthouse whilst you’re there – the oldest working lighthouse in East Anglia.

Enjoy a holiday like no other in this welcoming property, which offers lots of different options for sleeping arrangements and two separate living areas. The first of the communal spaces greets you upon arrival, with a large array of sofa seating, a wood burner and the perfect-sized dining table to seat the whole family; above this open-plan room you will spot some original features from the boathouse. There is a second lounge in case you’d prefer to entertain separately with more comfortable seating – both lounges benefit from Smart TVs. Through the modern, fully equipped kitchen, you will find everything needed to cook a celebratory meal. On the ground floor you’ll also find one double bedroom with an en-suite and a twin bedroom with a shower room next door. Up to the first floor, there are a further three double bedrooms (two of which have en-suites) and another twin, as well as a stylishly modern bathroom.

The house has a fully enclosed lawn and patio garden to the rear, dressed in beautiful outdoor seating and large gas BBQ. In the pool house, the 7m x 3.5m pool is heated year-round, fitted with shower and WC for ease of use. The games room contains comfortable seating, a pool table and a kitchenette area, perfect for all ages to hide away and enjoy quality (or competitive) time together.
