Llyn Peninsula cottage

This idyllic retreat sleeps 8 guests just inland from Trefor on the Llyn Peninsula. It is less than 10 miles from the attractions of Pwllheli, a seaside town with a marina, sandy beaches, and a plethora of independent pubs, shops, cafes, and restaurants. Families can spend the day in Abersoch (15 miles), a former fishing port that’s now an attractive seaside village with a sandy beach.

The ground floor features an inviting lounge with two leather sofas, a cosy wood burner, and a TV. The patio doors frame the far-reaching views and offer access to the private patio and garden. The stylish kitchen/diner is a large, L-shaped space with an inglenook fireplace and traditional beams. The cottage benefits from a ground-floor wet room and a utility room. The four bedrooms are all on the first floor. The king-size bedroom has oak furniture, and offers mountain and sea views. The double bedroom also offers mountain and sea views, while the single bedroom has views towards the mountains. There is a further bedroom offering flexible sleeping arrangement – it has three single beds, which can also be set up as one super-king-size bed (zip-and-link) and one single bed. The bedrooms are served by a bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Outside, you’ll find a spacious, tranquil garden. Take a seat on the bench to enjoy extensive views towards the mountains and sea. The patio area is equipped with a large garden table and a charcoal BBQ set. All of the outdoor space offers privacy and inspiring views.
