Set in a rural spot near Porthcothan on the North Cornwall Coast, this delightful property sleeps 6 guests in total comfort. Ideal for keen walkers, the cottage is just over 1 mile from the beautiful beach at Porthcothan, a lovely sheltered and sandy bay. Plenty of other beaches are within easy reach including Bedruthan Steps, Pentire Steps and Beacon Cove, all within 4 miles. With spellbinding clifftop walks throughout the area, the cottage is also a great base for spotting a wide variety of seabirds. To the north, Padstow and St Merryn have some fabulous places to eat and drink. The lively coastal resort of Newquay is 13 miles along the coast.

Entering this airy and welcoming property the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner offers lovely views of the countryside and makes a great space for everyone to unwind in. You can sit back around the warming wood burner and watch a favourite old movie in the lounge, while the central dining space is perfect for sharing a fabulous family meal together. The stylishly designed kitchen is fully equipped so you can cook up a range of dishes. There’s also a handy shower on the ground floor, along with the first of the cottage’s three bedrooms: an airy bunk bedroom. Heading upstairs, the first floor has a refreshing bathroom and two further cosy bedrooms, decorated in light relaxing shades: the first is a charming king-size room and there’s also a delightful twin room which can be made up as a zip & link super-king on request. All bedrooms have plenty of storage space and a TV.

Stepping outside, the large enclosed garden has a big lawn with plenty of space for children to play. The decked area has a choice of outdoor furniture, providing a great spot for dining alfresco and taking in the gorgeous far-reaching views on a warm and sunny afternoon.
