For those looking for somewhere to dine out after a busy day exploring the Jurassic Coast, the well-regarded Castle Inn is 300 metres away and a village shop (open Spring and Summer) can be found around 800 metres away. The Jurassic Coast is home to a large section of the scenic South West Coastal Path and offers an array of wonderful walks, whilst also being within easy reach of family-oriented locations such as Swanage (16 miles SE), Weymouth (14 miles SW) and Bournemouth (23 miles NE).

From the driveway, three steps lead down to the front door where guests are greeted by a useful utility/storage area – ideal for drying wet boots and coats after a day on the beach; this leads into the gorgeous contemporary kitchen which is well-equipped for those who are keen to cook and dine, or indeed those looking to use this space to make a sumptuous packed lunch ahead of a day’s walking on the coast. The kitchen features a dining table and chairs for those evenings ‘in’ and leads through to the bright, sunny lounge area; with a Smart TV, sumptuous sofas and French doors leading out onto the rear garden. After a long day, guests can benefit from the use of three bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and Smart TV, one with twin beds and a further single bedroom. A well-appointed bathroom completes the generous accommodation.

During the warmer months, the rear garden is a real haven for wildlife and enjoys wonderfully uninterrupted views across open fields towards the hill, with Lulworth Cove being located 0.5 miles away on foot along a coastal path. The gardens allow for a variety of activities, from relaxing on the lawns with a good book and a glass of something chilled; to an ideal space for little ones to run around and play. Thanks to the outside lighting, this space is also perfect for dining together as the sun sets in the distance, after a busy day on the beach.
