An extension of the kitchen is conveniently located just next to the open plan lounge, making it easy for everyone to come and go. Sporting the home’s signature seaside blue, you’ll find a Nespresso coffee machine and built-in wine cooler for when drinks are in order. Geometric tiles and fun coastal artwork complete the space, while an Azatom Bluetooth speaker provides some background entertainment.

Living Area
With direct access onto the balcony, the main living space enjoys majestic frontline views out to sea. Slide open the doors and step onto the terrace to soak up an invigorating South Devon breeze. Tucked inside and protected from the elements, a pair of window seats provide the perfect storm-watching spot if the weather’s wild, while two plush sofas and child-friendly bean bags invite sociable evenings together.

Fire up the feature wood burner to transform the space into a cosy night-time den, bring out a board game at the sea-view dining table or settle down for a family film on the Samsung Smart TV, complete with Netflix and Prime Video.

Sliding doors reveal an enchanting panorama of the headland and surrounding ocean, with a comfy bench seat providing just the spot for morning coffee.

Rich blue velvet and pops of white create a soothing beach-like sanctuary, with a magnificent beaded chandelier overhead. You’ll find plenty of storage tucked away in the built-in wardrobe, while the Samsung Smart TV is on hand for lazy holiday lie-ins.

Beach themed artwork, tie dye cushions and an electric ACR wood burner complete the space, making it all the more inviting.

Bedroom Four
Positioned high above the village, bedroom four enjoys peaceful views across Hope Cove’s traditional thatched roof cottages. A built-in wardrobe provides plenty of storage tucked under gently sloping eaves, while a Samsung Smart TV sits on the wall complete with Netflix and Prime Video.

Bedroom Five and En-suite
Tucked away at the back of the first floor, this king size room is just the spot to rest a while. With views across the ocean and a soothing light blue colour scheme, a touch of the bohemian runs through the design, from the rattan window seat and driftwood mirror to the beautiful textured accessories. You’ll find a built-in wardrobe with ample space for storing away holiday essentials.

The convenient en-suite has a walk-in Grohe shower with waterfall head and is edged in soft beige tiles, giving the space an easy and relaxing feel.

Bedroom Six
Bedroom six looks out across the garden and is a wonderful hideaway for younger guests. Comprising a double bed on the bottom and a single bed on top, a bunk bed provides versatile sleeping arrangements. Featuring blue and white soft furnishings, an anchor-shaped mirror and a pair of decorative oars that the children are sure to love, nautical touches are woven throughout.

Family Bathroom
Wrapped up in soft green paneling, rustic wood, cool grey tiles and timeless marble, the family bathroom is immediately welcoming. Home to a freestanding bath tub for luxurious soaks, plus a large walk-in shower with waterfall head, it’s a fresh and airy space to prepare for the day.

Complete with a Neff oven and induction hob, a Nespresso coffee machine and Bosch dishwasher, the kitchen has everything you need for effortless holiday hosting. The matching toaster, kettle and microwave complete with kitchen set, while a built-in fridge makes for chilled refreshments on hot summer days.

Living Area
An inviting open plan space that leads straight onto the wraparound terrace, the living area is light and bright. Peel open the bi-folds to enjoy a drink with a view or on chilly winter nights, take a seat on a pillowy-soft sofa and relax to the crackle of the wood burner. There’s a Samsung Smart TV for catching up on your favourite shows over breakfast, plus a dining table to seat up to six.

Bedroom Seven
Cosy up in the king size bed and admire tranquil views over the garden. This bedroom is bursting with coastal charm, from the deep blue tones in the artwork to the textured rug underfoot.

Bedroom Eight
Sure to be a hit with the children, Tamarisks’ final bedroom features a fun bunk bed layout with a double bed on the bottom and a single on the top. Simple and understated, the room’s grey-blue interiors continue the seaside theme of the house, with touches of wood and rattan throughout.

Family Bathroom
Tiled in a beautiful geometric design, the family bathroom is awash in muted pastel shades. A huge walk-in shower with a waterfall head will make evening showers all the more tempting after days on the sand.

Media Room

Perched above the garage and accessed via an external staircase, the media-room-turned-den offers a high-spec chill-out space for teenagers, film fanatics and those simply wanting to escape the hub of the group. Complete with a built-in ceiling projector, pile in and cosy up to watch your favourite Netflix shows.

The kitchen area has a sink, microwave and toaster to transform the space into a rainy day refuge, as well as a breakfast bar for preparing cinema-ready snacks. Atmospheric lighting and trendy low-level beanbags make the space cosy and inviting, while splashes of blue and porthole windows add an element of seaside fun. There’s also a handy W/C for those marathon movie weekends, and direct access onto the lower-level terrace via a wood-clad spiral staircase.

Panoramic views across Hope Cove Beach and the ocean beyond are what make the outdoor space at Tamarisks so special. With a wood fired pizza oven, fire pit and a barbeque looking out across the water, the two-tier terrace is a picturesque setting to drink and dine in style.

Keen barbeque chefs will find everything they need in the outdoor kitchen, from a built-in grill and handy sink to a drinks fridge promising ice cold beers. There’s plenty of outdoor seating with a huge dining table for family dinners, and a relaxed corner sofa for when the sun goes down. Up on the second terrace, you’ll find sun loungers and rattan egg chairs that are perfect for taking in the view.

At the back of the house sits a retired formal show garden, a peaceful spot that was visited and loved by the public in its previous life. Now a tranquil oasis for families to relax, there’s an outdoor dining table plus an additional barbeque for al fresco lunches on the elevated courtyard. Two outdoor cedar wood showers are on hand for warming up after morning sea swims, while a hanging chair is tucked beneath the trees for those more comfortable in the shade.

Stepping through the gap in the feature stone wall, you’ll find a mural paying tribute to Tamarisks’ seaside setting, made out of mussel shells collected on the beach below. Closer to the house, there’s a convenient outdoor sink and tumble dryer to take care of beach day essentials.

Please note: Tamarisks is accessed via steep stairs at the front of the property so we wouldn't recommend it for guests with limited mobility. As the garden is terraced with several sets of steps throughout, as well as some steep drops, young children should be supervised at all times while in the external areas.

At the front of the house, there’s a double garage offering private parking for two cars. An additional car can be parked on the track opposite.
