The open plan ground floor has a well equipped kitchen area, with dining area and comfortable sitting area. Upstairs a double bedroom and modern shower room have been cleverly built into the roof space though the head height is slightly reduced in places. A table and chairs outside the front door, in the entrance area (with some shared access for the neighbouring house) provides a spot to sit, relax and enjoy a glass of wine. Please note, the property is not suitable for children and that there is no space for a cot. Location Just a minute's walk from the main shops, seafront and local amenities in the centre of the unspoilt Dorset seaside town of Lyme Regis. As well as a seafront promenade and sandy beach, the town is home to celebrity chef Mark Hix's superb Oyster and Seafood Restaurant, along with many other cafes, pubs, restaurants, and eateries. Lyme Regis is the perfect location for couples looking for a traditional seaside break. With an ecclectic selection of independent shops, an award winning museum, a small theatre and a cinema, there is plenty on offer just moments from the cottage. For those looking to explore the wider area, The South West Coast Path heads west through the amazing Undercliffe between Lyme Regis and Axmouth, or east towards Charmouth and the magnificent National Trust land at Golden Cap. The mainline railway station in nearby Axminster is served by a regular bus service (or taxis), to and from the town, so you could even decide to leave you car at home.
