A stunning stone coastal cottage that sleeps 6 guests in Mousehole half a mile from the vibrant harbour where you’ll find shops, eateries and boat trips to explore the coastline. Visit the nearby 15-acre Trewiden Garden (3.5 miles) which is full of magnolias and camellias with a tea room and children’s trail or the National Trust Tregwainton Garden (5 miles), which is a 16th-century country home and gardens. Or spend a day swimming and relaxing at Lamorna Cove beach (3 miles).

As you enter the ground floor of the property, you’ll be greeted by a charming open-plan kitchen/dining area. The room is divided by a stone floor in the farmhouse-style kitchen area and wooden flooring in the dining area, where you can find a table and chairs. Impress your guests with a feast cooked in the double oven and catch a glimpse of the sea from the window on the exposed stone wall by the dining area. When it’s time to put your feet up and relax, the living space adjoining the dining area is where you’ll find some comfortable armchairs and a sofa. Along another exposed stone wall, there’s a large fireplace with a wood burner. Upstairs you’ll find three bedrooms and a family bathroom with a shower over the bath. The first bedroom boasts a king-size bed where you can wake up to sea views. Inside the second bedroom, which also has sea views, you’ll find a double bed. This room has its own en-suite bathroom with a shower. The final bedroom has twin beds, a CD player and sea views.

Outside there are two gardens. The front garden is surrounded by small plants with a table and chairs which look out onto pleasant views of the sea in the distance. To the rear of the property, there’s an enclosed terraced garden with comfortable seating for dining alfresco while soaking up the far-reaching sea views. Thanks to a comfortable summerhouse, no matter what the weather is like, you can enjoy the spectacular views.
