Featuring a pretty cliff-top promenade and charming gardens, the idyllic village of Mundesley makes a fabulous base for discovering the tranquil north-eastern coast of Norfolk. The cottage is a quarter of a mile or so from a glorious long golden stretch of sandy beach with bright, colourful huts along the seafront. This thriving village is also known for its golf course and has a crazy golf range and one of the smallest, and most interesting, maritime museums in the UK. Other landmarks in this delightful part of Norfolk include Amazona Zoo in nearby Cromer, Felbrigg Hall, Gardens and Estate, East Ruston Old Vicarage Garden, Blickling Hall, Gunton Park Sawmill and the red and white striped Happisburgh Lighthouse (all within 13 miles).

As you step into this welcoming little cottage, you will be greeted by the delightful, fresh and airy lounge. Featuring plenty of comfortable seating, a Smart TV, DVD and iPod dock, this is a lovely space to snuggle up together in front of the living flame electric fire and chat late into the night. There’s also a selection of books to browse and games to play. When it’s time for dinner, step through into the bright and stylishly-designed kitchen/diner. The dining table provides a fantastic sociable space for you to sit round, enjoy a meal and plan the next day’s activities.

With an electric oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher and filter coffee machine, the kitchen is perfect for rustling up a full range of favourite family meals. The ground floor also offers a bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC. At the end of the day, head upstairs and choose between two cheerfully-furnished, tastefully-decorated and relaxing bedrooms. The first is a pretty twin room with a TV and games console. The second is a sweet double with plenty of storage space.

Stepping outside, there’s a charming shared garden to the front, while the fully-enclosed back garden features a long lawn, a patio with outdoor furniture and a BBQ, providing a lovely space to dine alfresco or enjoy a glass or two of wine in the evenings.
