North Devon contemporary cottage for six by the sea in Ilfracombe, this inviting holiday home could suit a family with older children or group of friends. Sleeping six guests, the four-bedroom property offers accommodation over two storeys, as well as space for soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the sea air. From here, walk 500 metres down to the renowned Tunnels Beaches and Tunnels Beaches romantic coastal wedding venue, hand-carved by Victorians through the rock to give access to the sea. Stroll in the scenic Torrs and climb up to the clifftops to pick up the South West Coast Path. Take the children to the aquarium, browse in the shops and dine out in eateries, and see Damien Hirst’s famous sculpture Verity, which stands at Ilfracombe Harbour.

Wander into the house at ground-floor level to find yourselves in well-presented, light-filled accommodation, with an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where you can relax together as you watch some of your favourite TV programmes and box sets. Whip up delicious dishes in the kitchen area, light the wood burner on chilly nights and enjoy lively meals together at the table. Climb the stairs to a half landing to find a twin bedroom, which can be made up as a super-king-size upon request. There is also a family bathroom here. Moving on up to the first floor, guests will find a king-size bedroom with en-suite shower room, a double and a single.

Climb 25 steps up to the front patio to unwind in the fresh air. There is also a second outdoor seating area and a further 30 steps then take you up to a covered pond and garden bench. The lawns and borders in the garden are steep, so please take care. Bikes and surfboards can be stored in the garage.
