A general shop and pub are less than a half a mile away, as is the wide sandy beach, great for games or a swim. Walk along the beach to Cromer, just under 3 miles away, with its traditional pier and independent shops, returning along the cliff path at high tide past the lighthouse. There are inland cycle routes and walks, or you may want to visit the two historic National Trust properties nearby – Felbrigg Hall is 4.5 miles away and Blickling Hall is 11.5 miles away. Fancy some retail therapy? Norwich is 23 miles distant.
