A fabulous coastal cottage in Penzance that sleeps 4 guests, boasting dreamy sea views across the Penzance harbour and bay. From its perch on Mount’s Bay, the cottage lies within a mile of the alleyways, shops and eateries of Penzance or the iconic promenade on the seafront between The Jubilee Pool and Newlyn. Then there is Marazion, 4 miles away, with its equally iconic St Michael’s Mount, a tidal island crowned by medieval church and castle, reached along a pebbled causeway at low tide. Overlooking St Michael’s Mount, Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens (2.5 miles) comprises a dramatic landscape of large-scale exotic planting and art by internationally renowned artists to explore.

Heading into the reverse-level property, you’ll find two king-size bedrooms on the ground floor, both benefiting from beautiful furnishings and décor. There is also an excellent bathroom with a thermostatic shower. Upstairs, you’ll find a spacious open-plan kitchen/diner, with the kitchen flooded by natural light. The dining area features an urban-style dining table and chair. Next to the dining area, three wooden steps lead up to the gorgeous living room on a mezzanine level, complete with a large reclining sofa and chairs enjoying coastal views out to the harbour and beyond through the Velux windows. A telescope enables you to enjoy the views even further. Back down from the mezzanine level, there is a bathroom upstairs that features another thermostatic shower.

Outside the property, there is a cute courtyard garden with a patio, enclosed by a large, pebbled wall for perfectly private al fresco dining. There is also another seating area with a foliage border benefiting from far-reaching views out to Penzance harbour and St Michael’s Mount.

Note: No smoking/vaping/BBQ’s. No pets. The property has no safety equipment for young children e.g. stair-gates etc. WiFi provided by Fibre Broadband.

Guests looking to stay at Trevidren Cottage should be aware of its location and that the premises are not ideally suited to persons with mobility difficulties. Bedrooms are located on the ground floor with the living accommodation located on the first floor, however, changes of level exist on both floors. At the point of booking prospective guests must satisfy themselves that the access and egress arrangements at our property meets their needs.
