Its superb proximity to the town and some of West Cornwall’s best sandy beaches and beautiful villages make it an ideal place to head for the quintessential British seaside holiday. Penzance itself has an array of galleries, boutique-style shops, pubs and restaurants. It’s also possible to go on fishing trips, wildlife cruises, and get a ferry to the Isles of Scilly from the town’s harbour. St Michael’s Mount out to sea is another major tourist attraction and lies 3 miles distant.

Inside, the cottage has everything guests need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The living area is open-plan with sea views. It leads to the fresh and bright kitchen, which has a door out to the property’s courtyard garden. The ground floor also has its own WC and Upstairs, the master bedroom is dual aspect so guests have sublime sea views plus a dedicated window seat that looks towards Mount’s Bay and the lido. It features a king-size bed, TV and easy chair. The other two bedrooms are a twin with sea views and a cosy single which overlooks the garden.

The courtyard garden has a BBQ and picnic table, so al fresco dinners (when the weather allows) are a great way to end your day.
