Polruan coastal cottage for 4

A sweet little reverse level cottage that sleeps 4 in Polruan close to a great little beach, shop, pub and cafe. There is a ferry in Polruan that takes guests to Fowey, where there are many more shops, pubs, eateries and a superb social scene. For outdoor enthusiasts the property is within easy reach of the South West Coast Path and the Saints Way. For family days out visit the Eden Project with is Biomes, Polperro Model Village and Porfell Wildlife Park.

Enter the property on the ground floor and step into the hall/utility room with bench, coat hooks, boot rack, freezer and fridge . Also on this floor is the bathroom with shower, bath, WC and a washing machine, which is housed in a cupboard with a freestanding electric drying rack in the utility room. Heading up the stairs to the first floor you will find the two bedrooms, a spacious and bright double and a bunk bedroom, perfect for children. A further set of stairs leads to the second floor where you will find the lounge with wonderful views of the harbour and quayside. After a day of exploring the area, relax on the sofa and enjoy your favourite movie on the TV or lose yourself in a good book. Create a light lunch or evening meal in the kitchen/diner equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge, dishwasher, Tassimo coffee machine and microwave then gather around the dining table with seating for four.

There is no outside space with this property but the beach and village quayside are only a few paces from the front door. Car parking is available at car at the top of the village (charges apply). Please note that due to the steep stairs and ground floor bathroom this cottage is not suitable for the elderly or infirm. Also, the nearby pub has outside seating area which can get noisy on nice evenings.

Polruan is a quaint little village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging.
Many of the amenities, ferries and cottages in Polruan are accessed via steps some of which can be steep. Please contact us if you have specific requirements.
There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars, therefore many properties in Polruan do not have private parking. However, there is a large pay and display carpark at the top of the village.

2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £25. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.
