The property is less than 0.25 miles from the small village’s harbour and beach, with its many rock pools. Venture on a 4-mile, circular walk, taking you along the clifftops to Staithes. Explore the pretty coastal villages of Runswick Bay and Staithes.

Head inland to strike out through the North York Moors National Park, with its myriad of footpaths. Plan a day trip into Whitby, 9.5 miles away, to peruse its many colourful shops in the old town and choose between a variety of cafes, pubs and restaurants for dining out. While you are here, climb the famous 199 steps up to see the remains of the abbey whilst taking in the panoramic views of the coast and sea. This rustic retreat is nestled amidst the serene landscapes of this rugged coastline.

The Old Stable stands within a complex of two other holiday cottages offering an authentic countryside experience. Exuding rustic elegance with its traditional stone exterior and cosy interior. Stepping inside, guests are welcomed by a warm ambience, complemented by exposed beams and rustic furnishings, creating a homely atmosphere. The living spaces are thoughtfully designed, providing comfort and relaxation after a day of exploring the surrounding beauty.

With its fully equipped kitchen, create hearty breakfasts and delicious dinners, then gather around the dining table before settling down on the sofa to watch a movie. Venture upstairs, where there are two bedrooms, a double, and a twin room which can be made into a super-king-size bed on request, both have a Smart TV in the room. The bathroom is on the same floor and is shared by both bedrooms.

Outside, a shared garden provides an idyllic setting for alfresco dining or simply enjoying the tranquillity of the countryside.
