Short walk to the beach at Rest Bay and to Royal Porthcawl Golf Club and near to The Grove and Pyle and Kenfig golf courses. Rest Bay is a lovely sandy beach, perfect for those new to surfing and is home to the Watersports Centre which offers equipment hire and surfing lessons. Visitors looking for a traditional seaside holiday; the amusements, cafes and ice cream parlours of Porthcawl Promenade are just 2 miles away. For something a little more tranquil, visitors can explore the coastline with several cycling and walking routes including the Wales Coast Path which are all within close proximity to the cottage.
