A fabulous cottage in Robin Hood’s Bay that sleeps 6 close to the beach. Perched on one of the most popular streets in Robin Hood’s Bay, you are in a prime location with charming eateries, independent shops, traditional village pubs and a beautiful sandy beach all within walking distance from the cottage. The village is full of stunning gravity-defying cottages which was once home to the busiest smuggling trade along the Yorkshire coast. Meander the cobbled streets and drink in the truly relaxed pace of village life before retreating to your home from home. Although you might not want to leave, the endearing gothic town of Whitby is located just 5.5 miles away, with plenty of attractions to fill your days.

Step inside to reveal a bright and airy space bursting with character, with its seaside trinkets, paintings and charming antique French furniture. The ground floor is home to an open-plan living space encompassing the lounge, kitchen and dining area all set to the seaside theme. Following a day of breathing in the fresh sea air cosy up with the family in front of the living flame fire. The handsome kitchen is home to all the amenities you’ll need to cook up some local seafood before dining at the cosy table. When the day is done, retreat upstairs to one of three generous bedrooms complete with soft furnishings to offer a restful night’s sleep. The master bedroom is located on the first floor, boasting an original cast iron fireplace, king-size bed and en-suite shower room. A further two bedrooms are located on the second floor; another generous king-size room and a charming twin. These rooms share the large family bathroom on the first floor complete with wonderful roll top bath and fireplace so you can truly unwind and lose yourself in the bubbles of an evening.

To the front of the cottage there is a bistro table and chairs, so you can sit out on the street to soak up the sun with your morning coffee. With sandy beaches, picturesque cliff tops and wonderful walking trails locally, you won’t be short of options when it comes to all manner of outdoor pursuits.

Parking – please note, there is no parking available at the cottage however it is sometimes possible to purchase a private permit for the nearby car-park. Please note this cannot accommodate for vehicles larger than a Range Rover . If this is not possible, parking is available at the top of the hill in the council car parks (charges apply).

There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £250 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £30. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.
