Saunton Sands is popular for surfers, swimmers, kite surfing and other water sports with several cafes and restaurants where you can enjoy some local cuisine. Only 1.5 miles away is the pretty seaside village of Croyde with its beautiful beach, an array of shops, pubs and tearooms, as well as the South West Coast Path with its spectacular views. Other options include a family day out at Watermouth Castle (13 miles) or for those more adventurous, have a go at coasteering at Watermouth Cove with lessons all through the summer months. Exmoor National Park is 15 miles away with its stunning woodland walks and mysterious moorlands where you may see the Exmoor ponies roaming the countryside.

This elevated property is accessed by an unmade private driveway. The entrance leads into a welcoming hallway where the warm and inviting lounge with glorious sea views is the first room on the right. There is a warming wood burner where you can enjoy relaxing on the comfortable sofas whilst watching a movie with family and friends. When you want to spend some quiet time reading a book or playing a game, the snug room is the perfect place to chill. Leading on through the hallway, the large family kitchen has everything you need to show off your cooking skills and impress the family with a hearty breakfast or a favourite recipe. Eat here and enjoy socialising with views across the beach. To complete this floor, there is a shower room and a separate WC as well as a utility storage area with a washing machine, tumble dryer and space for your prams, surfboards and bucket and spades. The garden is tiered and there is a grassy area where the children can play safely whilst the adults relax and plan the next day of adventure with a favourite beverage. You can drive to Saunton beach within 5 minutes with its three miles of golden sands or for avid walkers it will take about 15 minutes along one of the may coastal paths surrounding the property.
