Outdoor adventures don’t end there, either: ramble the South West Coast Path for spectacular views of the Devon seaside, joining it at the side of Saunton Golf Club (1 mile). Swing by the 36-hole, championship course if you fancy a game. The picturesque seaside village of Croyde (2 miles) makes a lovely day out to sample local wares at pubs, restaurants and cafes.

16 steps lead to your one-floor apartment featuring an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Settle on the L-shaped sofa and enjoy the view any time of day through the floor-to-ceiling, full-width patio doors that lead to the balcony overlooking the beach, dunes and sea.
