Nestled right on the beach, spend days sunbathing, surfing, or simply admiring the views. The village of Shaldon has a mix of cafes, restaurants, and pubs, so you will be close to everything you need. Hop on the ferry and cross the estuary to the lovely resort of Teignmouth (2 miles) and spend a day playing crazy golf or enjoying the amusements on the Victorian Pier. The South West Coast Path passes through Shaldon, join the route on foot and take in some of the very best of the Devon coastline.

Inside, this bijou hut has been thoughtfully designed to maximise the space available and make this a wonderful retreat. Open up the living area’s bi-fold doors and let the sea breeze roll through. Enjoy evenings listening to the waves while cosied up on the sofa. If you can tear yourself away from the many eateries on offer, cook up a storm in the galley kitchen which has everything you need. The bedroom is situated up on a mezzanine floor. Climb the steep stairs and find a lovely, cosy space, with a a comfortable king-size mattress. The sofa in the living room can be made into a sofa bed at an extra cost, but is only recommended for two children or one adult (£30 additional charges apply for sofa bed select at time of booking). Completing the inside of the hut is a stylish bathroom that contains a shower, and WC.

Outside to the front of the property is a wonderful, enclosed terrace. Spend a relaxing breakfast on the garden furniture while you plan your days ahead or enjoy an evening tipple under the stars before heading to bed. A ladder takes guests straight onto the beach.
