Sheringham beach has been voted the best beach in the East of England by the Sunday times in 2024, so make sure to soak in the sun and sand for your stay with your friends or family. This idyllic spot in Sheringham is perfect for making the most of the North Norfolk coast, whether enjoying scenic hikes along the Norfolk Coast Path, admiring the colony of seals at Blakeney Point (9 miles), or sampling the freshest seafood in Cromer (5 miles). You could even hop aboard a steam train on the town’s famous heritage railway and enjoy a scenic journey to Holt (7.5 miles) with its art galleries, shops, cafes and pubs.

After a day on the beach, step inside this seafront cottage and head to the open-plan kitchen/dining area to make a brew and relax at the dining table or on one of the stools at the breakfast bar. From the hallway, there is access to the garage which houses an additional fridge and mini freezer, and from here there is also an additional shower room. Climb the stairs to the first floor and be rewarded with spectacular sea views from the lounge. On a sunny day, you can open the French doors to the balcony and enjoy the fresh, sea breeze. Completing the first floor is a double bedroom, a bunk bedroom with 2’6″ adult beds and a family bathroom. The final bedroom is on the second floor, a king-size with a sloping ceiling and en-suite shower room.

Watch the fishermen unload their haul from the comfort of the enclosed front terrace or dine alfresco on the rear terrace when the weather is fine.
